Spalding and Fayette County Farm Bureau Safety Day is Tuesday July 15th. The public is invited to attend special programs at the University of Georgia Griffin Campus at the Pavilion. NewWalk Christian Fellowship along with Caring Hearts Ministries is teaming up with local businesses to offer free school supplies to Spalding County Residents on Aug 3, 2014 at 11am. New recording artist Heather Tag will be in concert at New Testament Baptist Church in Ellenwood on June 29th.  Heather will debut her new CD, Heaven and Earth Proclaim. A memorial fund has been set up at Regions Bank for fallen Griffin police officer Kevin Jordan. Donations can be submitted to the “Griffin Police Department Memorial Fund for Officer Kevin Jordan” at any Regions Bank. Proceeds will go to his family. Officer Jordan left behind seven children.
