On April 16th, 1997, the second anniversary of WMVV, Life Radio Ministries, Inc. placed an application on file with the FCC to build a second radio station to broadcast to the Southwest portion of the Atlanta area. Currently NewLife FM does not reach into these areas due to FCC regulations.

Nearly 10 years to the day, in April of 2007, the FCC awarded a "construction permit" to Life Radio Ministries to construct a new 13,000 watt FM radio station. The new station will broadcast the same signal and format now enjoyed on WMVV. The new frequency will be 91.7 FM and the call letters will be WMVW. Combined, 90.7, 91.7, and 107.1 will reach many with the heart warming and life changing sounds of NewLife.FM. The FCC allows three years for the project to be finalized. Many setbacks slowed the project down but all Federal, State and Local permits are now approved, land has been acquired, and the race is on! The radio station MUST be on the air by May 30, 2010 or the license will be cancelled.
