Doug Doran
Vice President and General Manager

Doug graduated from Georgia State University in 1975 with a B.S. degree in Education. While in College, he began to work in the broadcasting industry and maintained that interest throughout the years. His extensive work experience with Delta Air Lines and Walk Thru The Bible Ministries, in addition to his volunteer work at First Baptist Church of Atlanta, In Touch Ministries with Dr. Charles Stanley and the Atlanta Passion Play have prepared him well for his responsibilities in the areas of Christian media. He joined the fulltime staff in 2000 as Director of Development, then advanced to General Manager and Vice-President in 2003. Doug looks for any “excuse” to fly his airplane and has logged many hours in the air as a certified skydiver, with nearly 1,000 skydives! Doug and his wife Susan have been married over 29 years and have one son, Gregory. They make their home in Barnesville, GA, where one of Doug’s old trucks won the “ugliest truck of the year” award two years in a row! "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds." Hebrews 12:1-3
